Frankly, I haven't had a bad experience with either of them (100% excellent experience actually) and would have to rate them pretty much equally. I will say, I've had much more experience with Uber due to the fact as an American Express Platinum member, I get $200 worth of free Uber credits every year. Lyft occasionally sends freebies my way which I will use if I need it. They're great while traveling to and from the airport, etc. I also find myself taking Uber for reasons I never considered before. As an example, just a couple weeks ago, Lynn and I were invited to dinner with friends (they entertain quite often). They live on the far south side of town, we live on the far north side of town and Lynn works in the central downtown area. In the pre-Uber days, I'd drive from home, pick Lynn up, we'd go to our friend's house for dinner, drive back to Lynn's work, then have to drive both cars home. The other option was she'd have to get off work, drive home to pick me up, then we'd turn around and drive back through town to our friend's house. (That was preferred since she enjoys a few glasses of wine when we visit and I'd drive home) Now, I simply Uber to Lynn's office and we drive to dinner and back home together. Easy-peasy.

My buddy (an attorney) and his wife both love their cocktails when they go out to dinner (they seldom eat in). They NEVER drive, but always Uber to dinner and back so they don't have to be concerned about drinking. Heck, they even Uber to their ball games (big sports fans) and back, for the same reason. Talking with them, they said they've never had a single negative experience. I've heard some nightmares on the news, but have no negative, personal experience.

Are there any heavy users here? (UBER P-hole ... I'm talkin' Uber here!)

Ever had a bad experience?
