    With all this rain, I'm thinking about raising frogs, instead of soybeans.....love me some frog legs !!!

    I was harelipping bass around a grassy edge of a pond once and caught a big bullfrog. He didn’t hit the jig. He hit the bobber and had the whole thing in his mouth and wouldn’t turn loose. Big frog!

    Caught and ate a lot of bullfrogs (legs) when I was a kid. We had a big mill pond behind the house that was full of the critters and I would either gig them or shoot them with my air rifle. Lots of fun and pretty tasty fried in butter. Like chicken? Maybe a little bit but better.

    I used to love to watch those legs twitch when my Aunt would soak them in saltwater.
