Ha, maybe the warming climate will make the hootchie weed grow bigger and faster.

Mebbe so BM. That would make a lot of the younger hillbillies around here happy.

Things might get desperate enough for a man to take up brewing his own beer. At least then I could find a quality pilsener without having to make a trip to some fancy big city hooch store.

The team looked at the areas around the world that grow barley, which is turned into malt for beer, and projected what will occur under five different climate warming scenarios by 2100 .... It expects average beer prices to double.
Imagine that!!! Beer may be double the price 82 years from now! Not a bad deal when you think about it. Heck, I'm not THAT old ... and it's at least quadrupled in MY lifetime.

The price of beer around here is totally out of hand the last couple of years anydamnway! Anything drinkable is $8 -$10 a six pack.

In college, a Budweiser was 35-cents. Toward the end of the week I'd start running low on money and switch over to PBR since it was only 30-cents! Once I got into the Army, beer was 25-cents. (those prices are for cans/bottles, not draught) We didn't have "Lite" beers then.

They don't even sell six packs in my part of Carolina/Georgia anymore...1 single(12-16oz) or 1 big single(25oz or bigger) or 12 pack - 24 case or keg.

    no six packs

Couldn’t agree with “more”, but yes, as much.
