Well, I texted the boogie man this morning, but haven’t heard back. Luckily the storm is hitting about 100 miles west of him, but I’m sure he’s still getting hammered.
I have some close friends in Panama City, but haven’t heard back from them either.
Panama City looks like ground zero.

We r good. Prolly had winds to 80 mph? I have some trees down but not on the house. Tallahassee got fucked up but Mexico Beach got just hammered. Don't know yet about inlaws bay side house in Apalach,. Storm surge prolly hit it bad but just don't know. Everyone I give a shit about is safe, so, that's what counts. Thx fellas. Thump, 694 4191? The damage they are reporting is pretty damned devastating. For those who stayed, that had to be quite a ride.
It got big so quick I think it must have caught a lot of folks by surprise. Its harder to just get up and go than it sounds.

Well, day 11 and we got power back right after lunch. Generator was a life saver. Cut up some trees today, washed my old ass with hot water. Played with grandkids, watched FSU game with wife, cooked up some shit in an oven instead of a coleman stove. Life's good.
