Fake punt bit Kirby in the azz and lost the LSU game.....same thing, yesterday.....went from a hero to a zero in the blink of an eye, in both games.

I think the player on the field, #14 mostly likely in this case, is supposed to make the decision on the field to call off the fake if the other team lines up in a safety defense instead of a punt return. I think whoever was responsible missed the call and the coaches on the sideline who should’ve called timeout missed it that he missed it.

Either way, it likely cost Georgia a spot in the CFP.

And ps I just googled it and Smart is getting slamed by everybody. Except ESPN. I switched them off right after the CFP announements but they didn’t mention it a bit. Other media are salling it ‘stupid’ and ‘disastrous’. Did ESPN avoid mentioning it because of the committee?

The smaller bowls are my favorites. Especially when the deploy the Hooterville Cam so the camera shots never show the tiny size of the crowd.
