    Good Day

    It was a good day today, I was able to take this 4.5 year old bruiser. Field dressed at 175#.

    Good 'un, Trav.....175# field dressed equates to a live weight of 221#.....just multiply the field dressed weight times 1.26.....big ole deer!!!

    And, that equates to 110# of pure edible venison!!!

    What’s funny is that because I am 6’5” and 400# the buck actually looks smaller than he was. This is the heaviest buck I have ever killed.

    The camo did match but by the time I got him to the truck I was sweating like Posthole in a church so I peeled of my jacket and hoodie.
