    Good fox hound, but.....

Good fox hound, but an even better deer dog.....one of my buddy's in my old deer camp is their dog man, and told me about this incident.....one of the members is a fox hunter, and trains some really good hounds.....he was having trouble with one particular fox hound that suddenly quit running fox, and started chasing nothing but deer, and he couldn't break the dog's bad habit.
He gave the dog to the deer club, free of charge, and the dog ran the heck outta deer.....he was so good at it, my buddy the dog man drove the dog to Kentucky a couple of weeks later, and entered the dog in a deer dog hunting competition.
The dang dog won $5,000 dollars !!!!!

A free dog that earns his own keep, pretty tough to beat a deal like that!
