    Heisman trophy, today.......

If they go by the numbers for both passing and rushing and performance on the field, Murray is the guy:

    * Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray: 241-for-340 passing, 4,053 yards, 40 TDs, 7 INTs; 892 rushing yards, 11 TDs

    * Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa: 199-for-294 passing, 3,353 yards, 37 TDs, 4 INTs; 190 rushing yards, 5 TDs

    * Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins: 348-for-496 passing, 4,580 yards, 47 TDs, 8 INTs; 122 rushing yards, 4 TDs

I thought he was the right guy but any of those three would be deserving.

Those numbers don’t lie! Congrats to both him and the OU program. What do you think his NFL prospects are?

I doubt he’ll go to the nfl. His long term prospects are best in baseball and I think he’s gong to make a lot of money.

Of course, there is a team in Oakland that is in need of leadership. Maybe he’ll try two sports.

As for his prospects, the ‘too short’ thing will be a constant diatribe. I wouldn’t wanna hear that shit either.

Height doesn’t seem to bother Drew Brees or Russell Wilson.

Looks like the LGBTQ/SJW's done found some (now deleated) tweet's about him calling queer's what they are.

Whats up with all these faggots/transwhatever demanding respect and attention?

Agreed. All I was trying to say was, his skills in baseball are already known and translate better to pro baseball than the nfl. With that said, the sports writers really haven’t paid that much attention to his baseball skills. He only got ‘good’ at baseball in college in the past year. Some might even say his baseball skills, particularly on defense, might be a tad overrated.

I look for him to play fullfill his contract with the A’s and then make another decision.

It’s awesome to have options like that. While baseball has a longer career and bigger upside, it seems like the NFL is a surer way to get paid for a lot of these two-sport guys.

Except for Bo, the man was superhuman, it is usually the football guys wanting to try baseball instead of the other way around.
Murray’s Dad was drafted and played for the Brewers and then moved on to pro football. He even broke his contract with the Brewers to go do it.

Congrats to your Homey. I was slow being converted but I finally came around. I hope he has as much success in MLB except when they play the Yankees

Don't get me wrong, Murray deserved the award, and I was rooting for him....,but I think Saban's "super-team", this year, actually may have cost Tua the Heisman.....he seldom got to play an entire game because Bama was usually ahead 40 or 50 points in the 4th quarter, and Saban would pull him out.....and, his lack-luster performance in the GA playoff game didn't help his cause, either.

Yep, it’ll be a good game, for sure, especially, if Jalen Hurts gets plenty of playing time, too.

Hurts is only a junior. You have to wonder if he’ll transfer now.

I believe the newrule is he can can transfer now that he’s a senior (or will be) and not lose a year. Since Stidham announced for the draft there’s a vacancy at Auburn! Boy, wouldn’t that put a bunch of Alabama panties in a tight wad!

I read somewhere that Houston was on his list. And Mizzou. Can’t imagine Saban letting him go to another SEC school if he can help it.

I don't know if he'd go to missouri and have to compete will Kelly Bryant, plus I doubt they can afford to pay both of them. I mean why else would anyone go to Missouri?

Gotta have deep pockets like Bama to cheat at that level!
