A day in the life of a professor...

Gave a final from 8:00 to 10:00 in the morning. Make up tests for two others from 10:00 to noon. Been grading research papers since then with no let up in sight.... my eyes are bleary. Is the semester over yet?

The music has me wondering if I should go home and grade this stuff over a nip of Knob Creek?

I can’t imagine. My oldest had his last final from 7:45 - 9:45 this morning and he sounds like he’s ready to blow off some steam. Hopefully, you’ll be able to do the same over the winter break.

I hope so too. I'm enjoying this job a heck of a lot but man this has been a long semester.

Need a couple weeks to play with the chainsaw and hunt some squirrels and watch old James Bond movies.

I know I could use what I call “cabin therapy” and am headed out for a few days of the late muzzle loader deer hunt between Christmas and New Year.

Yeah I could see where that might cause scheduling problems lol. All part of learning how to set priorities.

I seem to remember these first world problems once upon a time.
