Been chasing this 'un about a week.....

He never would get within range, so I just waited and waited and waited 'til he got real horny.....he finally chased a doe within about 200 yds.....that's been the demise of many a good man.

Gonna get a skull mount and get that big drop tine repaired, too.

He certainly is a big, tall, muley lookin’ effer. That will make a beautiful euro mount, Muddy. Are you going natural or will you have them dip it?

What’d he weigh in at? Y’all sure have liberal hunting seasons!

Just a straight up Euro, Tpost.....I gots a buddy who does 'em for $75 bucks, and has 'em back to me in 10 days.....he'll prolly charge me a few extra bucks to repair that drop-tine.

Yep, we are blessed with liberal deer seasons.....starts on Oct. 1 and ends Jan.31.

And, my buck only weighed 265 lbs.....he was screwed completely down from the rut, and prolly lost at least 10% of his body weight.....his pecker sheath was nearly bald-headed.

Ha, since he broke off that drop tine, I felt kinda sorry for him, so I just went ahead and put him oughta his misery, this year.

How long did you inspect his pecker sheath? Is that even legal?

That’s a real SOB! Congrats Muddy. I’ve managed to bust a few this year myself! I’m just enjoying looking at them now.
That will make a nice skull mount. I have a friend here that is a true artist when it comes to fixing broken points.
