    I'm a "fun-gi"... fan..

Any of you guys fool with mushrooms? (not that kind, Jim). I'm not a hard-core hunter - but I always go out and get enough to eat.. Found these today - mostly in two patches.

If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.

Good eats! I’ve never really hunted morels, but have come across a hen of the woods a couple of times that cooked up pretty nicely.

Love morels and always found a batch for the turkey gravy during turkey season. I’d keep the breasts and leave the rest for the ‘possums’. Morel gravy was the tits to complete the meal. Nice job! Well, with the mushroom hunting anyway, not so much on the picture posting.

Sauteed morels with flash fried venison steaks are about the best combination of wild food that exists.

I don’t hunt them but it used to be annual when we spent easters in the St Louis area.

I love em but I’m afraid to pick em, I’d start out eating them one minute and end up picking my teeth at the Pearly Gates the next

Morels are pretty unique. There are false morels but if you just stay conservative it’d be hard to hirt yourself with morels. Go with an experienced person and they’ll show you.

I don’t think we have them around here. The only time I’ve ever seen anything that looked like that was in a porn flick called Invasion of The Mutant Gangbangers

I gave it 3 out of 5 stars

Only finding a few in my neck of the woods. We haven’t had enough warm days for them to really pop.
