    GoT watchers?

Any Game of Thrones watchers here? I've read the books (3 times) and watched the show since the beginning and am totally pissed off with this last season. Man, they screwed this up royally. Don't know if I'll read the final book(s) if Martin actually gets around to finishing them. Bahh!

Based on everyone I know, I’m one of the 6 people in America who hasn’t seen even 1 episode. I hear good things though !

If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.

I read the books a couple of years ago when I was doing a lot of long flights for work and finally broke down and binge watched the whole series after the kids got interested. My biggest complaint on this season is that they’re trying to cover too much ground in just six episodes and it seems a bit forced.

I think I read somewhere that the book deal is for a prequel, but I doubt they ever get written as the author seems like a pretty odd bird.

My wife is a fan.. She has the whole set.. I have a terrible time getting into "soap operas" (continuing sagas) no matter what time period. Last thing I was interested in was Longmire and the assholes took that off the air..

Watching this week’s episode with Julie was like watching a Sooner game. Well, except for her yelling ‘Kill the bitch!’ a dozen or so times.

That’s not true, I have heard her yell that at OU games as well.

I've never watched it, but it must be a pretty good show because we were invited to a get-together, this weekend, and later the host/hostess changed the time because all their friends were complaining that they'd miss watching it.....I was not one of them.

Lynn watched it for the first time in LA while her mom was watching. She became instantly hooked. Once they started watching, I went into the bedroom and started playing a game on my iPhone. Yawn ....

There must be something to the rage, I just wasn't interested in getting involved in a television "soap opera".

You ain’t ever seen a soap opera like this, my friend.

Keep on with your bad, tasteful self though.

Speaking of great hbo series, the Deadwood movie is out real soon.

Did we mention there’s a bunch of naked women and sword fighting?

We haven't subscribed to HBO in over 25 years.....got plum sick and tired of those "Karate Kid" re-runs on every channel.....ha, even in the re-runs, Mr. Mioggi was getting arthritis.

Haven't missed HBO, in the least.

I'll take a good fishing or hunting episode, any day!!!
(and, of course, Chicago P.D.....we need cops like Hoyt all over this country!!!)

We haven’t watched a movie on hbo in years probably. We only pay mtm while there are series on that we like. Thisyear it was True Detective and GoT. And after the Deadwood movie, we’ll cut it off for the rest of the year.
