If we had a fishing forum

I’d post this there. I haven’t been fishing in two years, life just keeps getting in the way. Anyway, son #3 and I went for a while this morning. I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed it6C6C2144-22FD-4820-AE63-AD600E79FE85.jpg

That’s a nice mess of fish you’ve got there.

nice.. about the only time we eat bass around here is through the ice and early season (cold water). The little ones eat pretty good.. big ones tend to get "musty".. They're okay out of the river - but farm ponds - not so much.. limit is 3.
If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.

That bunch of mine plowed thru some fish last night. we cooked 11 bass, three lbs of whole catfish and 2 lbs of fillets and we had 1 bass left when the smoke cleared.

Tomorrow will be worse. It'll look like a cackle of hyena savaging a herd of wilderbeast

HA, QA, Bucky would rake your azz over the coals for not having your fish covered in at least a foot of ice in your cooler.....'course, he's the same guy that couldn't remember to put in his boat's drain plug.....or, put grease in his boat trailer axle bearings.
I still miss the ole curmudgeon fart, however.

That's what they're called. There's not a perzact number just a group living together

Cap is right. Smallies and spots probably a little better. Almost anything you catch out of cool moving water is going taste better.

Howsomenever, when you haven't a had a mess of fried fish for several months, it's all larrupin
