Just got this email from him, sure hope the rain stops soon. I think floods are worse than tornado's. I'm sure I never want to find out about either.

It is bad. We are on a high spot, but US 65N has spots that might dlood, and that's a mile away. Many roads closed.
Came home last week from CO Springs and S.E. Kansas was tough to get through. Many places flooding here. And more rain coming. Could use some prayers.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Mama probably means his wife. His mom lives next door to him, but I believe he usually referred to her as Mother. I could be wrong ... but it would be the first time this year.
Hope all goes well with the healing no matter whose ankle it is. Those old bones don't heal as fast as they used to.
