Great way to start a day.

When we returned to our room from breakfast yesterday, I glanced out the window and spotted three deer feeding behind the hotel. It looked like a fat doe and a couple of “yearlings”. That’s when you know it’ll be a good day ... and it was!

I'm all in for the AYCE!

Got check-out time in less than an hour. Bummer. Back to the old drag.

At least I have the car packed to the gills with "new" eBay inventory. The thrift store gods were good to me this weekend and I should be able to turn $85-$90 into $700-$800 as far as I can tell. It seems EVERY store we hit this weekend was having a major sale of 50%-75% off of everything I bought, so that sure helps the ol' profit margin! I ALWAYS do well in this area for some reason.

(wink, wink ).....heck, yeah, I bet this past "business" weekend cost him at least $5,000 bucks......$4,000 in food costs, alone, for KFC, smoked mullet, bbq ribs, and raw squid.

Love me some Crawfish Ettouffee! Beignets are OK but a good hot and now Krispy Kreme is better.

I'll agree with you on the KK ... and I ONLY stop when the "Hot Now" sign is on!

BUT ... in N'awlins, I WILL NOT leave town without at least one stop at Cafe Du Monde!
