    Now THAT'S F'd up man!

I know we have worthless ass frigging thieves who steal manhole covers, a/c units and strip wire from empty houses for scrap, but this is crossing the line!

I get a copy of a Thai newspaper every day and here's an article in today's paper about a train derailment. Luckily it was one of their slower passenger trains and there were no major injuries, but it could have been worse.

Ok, upon inspection, it seems the retaining plates which attach the rails to the ties were missing from a stretch of track.

After a short police investigation, the missing pieces were located at a local recycling yard. The cops are now trying to find the perps who sold the "scrap" to the dealer.

We just had some guy die from electrocution while he was trying to steal copper from a tv station tower. His girlfriend and buddy who were with him are being charged with murder.
We had a mayor of Tulsa several years ago who thought it was a good idea to turn off every other street light to save money. Dumb bitch. When they went to turn them back on, the copper had been stolen out of most of them.

There must be money in metal salvage!

Scrap prices are pretty good. Not what they were a few years ago though. We had people breaking into foreclosed homes and stealing all of the copper plumbing and wiring. There were also some thefts of copper from utility poles. Hell, basically anything metal that was left outside came up missing. We even had people breaking into barns and taking the leads from welders and stripping old farm equipment too.

No shit. Over the past 20 years I’ve came across a lot more meth than even marijuana and dealt with hundreds of meth labs.
