To be safe, they're all "toad-stools" to me. The only shrooms I've ever actively hunted were morels during Spring turkey season in Ohio.

My son would know. He's an avid shroom hunter and may even be hunting them as we speak. He travels a LOT (with his business) and always knows what's available wherever he'll be during his travels (he normally stays at least a week in each location).

Sorry, I hunt my shrooms at the supermarket ... only because I haven't learned enough about identifying them to keep from killing myself, but if I were to wager a guess ... I'd say "Honey Mushroom". I don't know their real name, but the fact yours appear to be at the base of an oak, it may fit. Eat one and let us know if you croak.
