    CFB week 2

Last week was 11-4, my bad. I flipped Nev/Purdue, Hokies/BC and S Car/N Car at the last second and I paid for it. Probably go 2-11 this week. Anyway here goes nuthin

    1) Cincinnati @ Ohio st. Buckeyes 38-10. Bearcats will play hard but they just ain't got the horses.

    2) Syracuse @ Maryland. Tough pick but I'm say upset special. Terps prevail 29-27.

    3) WVU @ Mizzou. 27-21. I don't know if Mizzou is that bad or is Wyoming that good. When in doubt, go with the home team

    4) Vandy @ Purdue. 28-27 Vandy. The Dores just looked a little tougher. Purdue is still a work in progress on D.

    5) W Carolina @ NC State. 42-10 Pack. Mismatch but I think State polishes up a few things and plays some young guys to keep the score down

    6) Neb @ Col. 31-24 Huskers. I think everyone is jumping on the Scott Frost bandwagon a little soon. I wouldn't be surprised if the Buffs win this

    7) S Miss @ Miss st. 35-17. I'm not sold on the bulldogs yet but we are talking Southern Miss. Time will tell

    8) S Dak @ Oklahoma. 63-16. Sooners can name their score here.

    9) BYU @ Tenn. 31-17 Coogs. Tennessee looked horrible last week and it couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of bucktoothed yokels

    10) LSU @ Texass. 31-24 Bengals. No reason, just cause

    11) A&M @ Clempson. 35-20. Aggies guarantee an upset in Death Valley. I predict pain. Lots of pain

    12) Miami @ N Car. 28-21 Tarholes. I believe in the Mackattack, plus the Miami QB can't hit the ground with the ball unless he fumbles

    13) Arky @ Ole Miss. 45-7 Ole Miss. The Rebel Black Bear Land Sharks looked absolutely atrocious on offense last week. The hogs have the cure. Chad Morris is lying thru his teeth when he said "we didn't want to show our offense". Nutt up and take the blame man, don't insult my intelligence

I’d say Purdue’s problem isn’t as much the rebuild on defense but the breakdowns in the fourth quarter.

They gave up 17 fourth quarter points to Nevada after leading 31-17 at the end of the third.

They did the same thing last year. They gave up 115 points in the fourth quarter last year.

From your lips to God’s ears for the Wolfpack. The first real test should be WVa in Morgantown next week. We’re really young in offense, but this team will go as far as the D takes it this year.

I’m very interested in that MD v. Syracuse match up. The Orange were picked very high in the ACC this year, but is only a 2 point favorite over the Terps why may be in the way back under their new coach.

I’m hoping the Bearcats are for realz and pulls off the upset.

And as much as I dislike LSU, I can’t not root for Coach Orgeron. I know hos ole miss days might make you guys hate him, but I love to watch his teams play. Plus he reminds me of my HS coach.

I like coach O, I'd trade him in a heart beat for Chad Morris

Tejas is the enemy no matter who they play. Well, except for maybe Notre Dame and Alabama...

I may have to give up cfb, it’s turning into pussyball. The refs call every thing a personal foul. I’ve seen two of the most redonklous calls and it’s not even halftime. Whoops your aftershave is offensive that’s 15 yards. Whoa, you violated his safe space, 15 more. Hey, you put your hands on his chest while blocking, sexual harassment, that’s an automatic ejection

I tend to be grumpy on 100+ degree September days. And that targeting call on Army was a travesty

The Associated Press might want to rethink that #20 ranking they gave Syracuse. 63-20 terps

The service academies are a real challenge. You have to retool your whole defense just for that week and they do what they do really really well. Much of what they do really well is cut blocking, which ought to be fucking illegal. Its because they can’t recruit huge linemen because they’d all be on the fat boy program.

I feel for Michigan. Army did that to OU last year.

There are few things in life that bring me more joy than to see the sad faces of Aggie fans getting pounded no matter what sport, but especially football

Tebow was pimping Mond like he was really something special. He has basically choked all day today. I’m kinda disappointed.
So Jimbo Fisher still hasn’t produced much to get excited about at aTm. When will the alumni at AggieU stop forcing the school to hire has-been washed up coaches from southeastern states? Geeze. They have struck out down there several times. Shoulda stuck with Kevin Sumlin.

Looks like LSU is the Oklahoma of the SEC. When the Hogs fired Beilima, I said please let it be anybody but Chad Morris. Sigh, it's hard being right all the time

11-2 today, probably the last time I ever pick vandy unless they play the hogs. Credit where’s its due, the boilermakers looked good today, I’m rooting for them

I’d be worried that LSU only put up 45 against a Big 12 defense.

Or....their vaunted SEC defense gave up 38 to a team that’ll prolly finish third or fourth in the Big 12.

It ain’t like they beat Knute Rockne.

That was an entertaining game. But,I think both those teams are way over ranked.

Herbie already has LSU in the CFP. I think he’s been standing in the mirror posing too much.

    CFB week 2

I’m all for it if it’s instead of Bama. Meanwhile, I don’t think there’s anybody left on Clempson’s schedule that will beat them. (I include my Wolfpack in that group.). There was some hope that Syracuse might, but they got absolutely housed by Maryland yesterday.

Hope seems to be lost for the Whorns again this year, after the latest annoncement that ‘They’re back!’. To have a shot they have to win out, including likely having to beat OU twice.

    Nah.
