    Another successful GH meeting

My wife, daughter, and I were treated to some good eats, wonderful conversation, and awesome hospitality thanks to the lovely Lynn and the infamous Mr. Kribbs last night!

    Thanks Jim!

Did you meet them at the cricket buffet?

Kribbs might be an axe murderer.

I can’t believe that you would expose your wife and daughter to Kribbs.

Hey!!! Where’s my neck?? Must be a bad camera angle.

I’m not sure it was MY treat. Heck, you tackled that poor waiter, to grab the tab, 6-feet before he even made it to the table!

I have a hard time believing that, considering this group of misfits, I’m still running at a 100% when it comes to meeting up with genuinely wonderful people met through this site. If the figure above had been 99%, meeting you and your family would have raised the average!

Enjoy your stay buddy, and anytime you’re back in town and feel like paying for dinner, give me a shout!

Good to hear bwana. Looks and sounds like a fun time.

I find it hard to believe Kribbs would host you folks and not choose some Thai /barbeque joint that melted your lips off.

Ha! The original plan was Puerto Rican, but due to Bwana's food allergies, I didn't want to gamble on it and the destination was changed to Brazilian at the last minute. Wonderful (partial) family and I really enjoyed the personal conversation without a keyboard involved. Great folks.

    That’s good stuff!
I bet Kribbs already ate what was in the doggie bag.

Ummm, yeah, that was actually dessert.

The meal was AYCE and the dessert was included ... I wasn't going to waste good belly space on dessert when I could opt for more steak ... then eat the dessert at a later time. There's a method to my madness.

I've been fortunate enough to meet everyone in person in that photo except for Lynn. Perhaps someday that will happen as well. What I do know is that everyone I have met from this site has been top drawer type of people. I can't say I have ever regretted meeting anyone from this site. I can't say that about all the sites on the internet and I have run across some real duds from other places, this site just seems to attract the kind of folks I get along with very well. John and Jim it looks like y'all had a great dinner together. It is nice to meet in person occasionally rather than just converse via a key board or phone.

To be certain, I was more than a bit concerned to bring daughter in such close proximity toThumper, but he proved to be a true gentleman.

Thanks again Lynn and Jim for the shuttle service and fun evening.
