Ma Nature can sure be fickle

Yesterday and today are sunny with temps in the mid-70's, the leaves are beginning to change, and the excitement of fall is building and then...along comes the rest of the week.

This morning the weather guy says 4-8 inches of snow Wednesday night with another 4-8 possible on Thursday. After that less snow each day through Saturday sometime. Not only that but winds are supposed to be 25-35 mph.

    So much for fall.

The pheasant opener is this Saturday but I have to admit, my excitement is waning as the weather is changing.

Nice fall weather her the last few days. We generally have a nice easy going fall that lasts through about the deer gun opener. Then its a crap shoot of about three different seasons until january. No telling what you’ll get.
