I’m typically not a fan of all of the throwback and alternative jerseys and uniforms that are now regular in most sports, but I think these are pretty cool.

Since Purdue is the alma mater of more astronauts than any other school and also claims the first and last man to walk on the moon among them, they are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing with special unis for their homecoming. The uniforms are white and designed to look like space suits and will have a patch stating Purdue is the cradle of astronauts, and for a special touch the face masks are gold like the visors on the Apollo helmets and the “P” on the helmet is moonscaped with craters.
