    Cull buck, this morning......

    Son took this 4-1/2 y.o., which has showed up on his game camera the past couple of years, but never showed any antler improvements.

    These past 60 days of 95 degree weather has been tough on our wildlife, so I was surprised at the amount of external body fat that he had.....even his internal organ fat was still pretty acceptable, considering his age.
    He donated everything to some needy folks around here, except the backstraps, which I'm gonna make jerky for the grands.

    Good looking critter for a cull. Would make a cool european mount.
