Captain, remember 14 years ago today

Captain and I got chased out of Montana due to a big snow storm that was forecast to blow through our route home.
Missed having Turkey Dinner with Big Sky and family, still feel bad about that.
Anyway, one of us was a happy hunter that trip.
The older I get, the better I was. I also forget my password and have to have Len reset it for me

Man that was one great trip. One of the best ever except for you driving my truck so close to the edge of some mountain.
Meeting Bwana and hunting with him! Big Sky and family were so great to be with. One fanatic hunt. Getting to meet Hotshot and Deputy Dog....
But screw that snow! I drove in that crap for 200 miles after I let you out!
So glad you and I got to meals that trip
Thanks for the memories all involved!

That was a great trip and here I thought you were afraid of nothing. Someone who picks up deadly snakes, faces down bad guys, and kills hogs with his bare hands, but drive his truck next to a 100' drop down a mountain and he's trying to crawl into your lap.
Here's one of my favorite pictures, taken by Bwana on our pheasant hunt on the way to Big Sky's. I have a large version of this hanging on my wall. Had a great chance at a double, but all the trees got in the way, only ended up with one.

It was nice getting to meet you two in person that time. I can’t believe it was 14 years ago. Sure doesn’t seem like it to me.

14 years ago?!?! How can that be???

Was definitely a good time, just wish we would have had more time to find a few more birds and to show you around the country here.

Love the smiles and the dandy muley in the first picture, and seeing jb in action on the second. Least I could do was get a picture of him in action given I shot all the pheasants out from under him.
