    Fascinating

    40 years ago .....

Is it just my imagination? Or does he sound more well-spoken then, than he does now? Not that I give a rat's ass.

(I was told this interview was never aired)

24 views and not one stinkin' comment. As I said in the title to this post, I found this interview fascinating. Politicians these days seem to change their views more often than they change their underwear and it many times just has everything to do with whom they're talking to at the particular moment, but after 40 years, this guy is saying now, exactly what he was saying then.

I saw this interview on Facebook last week and I had the same thoughts as you did Thump. His story sounds the same today as it did back then. Though I am less than impressed with his Tweets, he does seem to wish the best for the US of A.

I've always judged folks by the "foxhole" method....."Could I really trust this person in a life or death situation, if I was thrown into a foxhole with them???".....think about that for a moment.....Trump or Romney---Trump or Schiff---Trump or Kerry---Trump or Biden---Trump or Buttigeig---Trump or Nadler---Trump or Obama---Trump or Schumer??? .....I'll take my chances with my President.

‘Your’ president used a phony medical excuse to avoid military service, so when you were in your imaginary foxhole, your imaginary president would be back at Trump Tower entertaining porn stars.

As usual, you missed my entire point, or you simply prefer to ignore it.

TBH, if I were in a foxhole in a life or death situation, I'm not so sure I'd pick ANY of the above to drag me out. BUT ... I don't think you were referring to the foxhole in a literal sense and I get it. From that perspective, I'm with you ... he'd figure a way out of the hole. Heck, as a matter of fact, he's been digging us out of the hole since he's been in office.

Well, since I missed it, maybe you can explain it to me. I understood your point to mean if you had to be in a foxhole, in other words were in danger, you’d want someone you could trust in there with you to help watch your back, etc etc etc. You chose Trump.
I was just pointing out that when confronted with real foxholes, Trump chose to help himself. And has chosen to help himself in just about everything he does. I suppose the imaginary ones were different?
But its your foxhole! Choose who you like!

Well, I’d say the last couple of administrations are the ones who dug that foxhole.

Barry, stop shaking up the bushes just to see what runs out.
Y’all old folks can’t take getting worked up like this!
Truth be told not one person in Washington truly gives two shites about you.
Hell they’d prolly shoot you in the leg to keep you in the foxhole.
That’s what the Dems do.... keep the good man down....

The Dems have been trying to bring him down since before he even took office. With the (re)election looming in the very near future, they're getting desperate.
