That’ll sure enough put lead in your pencil. There’s a bag of limas in the pantry now just waiting on the right piece of pork to come along.

I made pinto beans and fried taters and cornbread the other night and was telling my oldest grandson about how it was my Dad’s favorite supper. Then I showed him Dad’s favorite dessert which was to crumble up a piece of cornbread in a glass of milk and fill it with milk and eat it with a spoon.

He wasn’t impressed with either!

I’ll convert him before he gets much older.

If you can ever get them to try it you’ve got the hook set most of the time

They won’t eat beans. And I’ve never met a bean I didn’t like.

Especially with fried chicken or fish.
