Well, at least we FINALLY have a President who's at least TRYING to bring manufacturing back to our country.

Who was it here who used to call those "strippers" back in the day? Kind'a like Hotshot's "wadders".

Way too many people have abandoned us lately.

It obvious you’re human just from your avatar.

Doesn't "early human" warrant a pass?

My wife was a "buyer" for the General Electric plant.. She didn't buy electronic "parts".. but everything else from pens to plywood to .. yep.. toilet paper. She said she has never been so happy to be retired..

Just learned that my kids school will be closing too. My wife is a principal in Michigan so she learned last week that her school will be closed for the next four weeks.

My kids will be going Monday and then they will be off for the next two weeks as of now. Thankfully they are old enough that we don’t need to find daycare.

Next week is spring break for most kids in Oklahoma public schools so I think they’re using that week to give parents some extra time to make arrangement for daycare where they have to. Mostall the Verizon folks I know are working WFH.

That said, therewas a lot of people out and about this weekend.

I just heard the Ohio is closing all restaurants and bars to the public. They can still be open but it is for carry out only.

368 deaths in Italy over the past 24 hours. And the US is almost on the same track as Italy.

Time to quit this bravado shit and stay the heck at the house. It isn’t for that long.

Although I do plan to fish. Birddog won’t infect me since our boat seats are four feet away from each other. Although he does like to fish in my half of the water most of the time.

I saw where Italy is triaging the patients because of a shortage of respirators and similar equipment. Those with the smaller chance of survival are getting passed over for those that have a better chance.

One of Italy’s problems is that they are the second oldest country per capita behind Japan. That could also explain the high death rate there.

HH, rye is my “go-to”. This is a special release from a small local distillery. (Many thanks to Egghead’s lovely bride for waiting in line and picking up an extra bottle for me!) Had to come by locally, much less I’m Iowa.
