My water heater is original to the house. 1998
It’s in the garage and the garage is lower grade than the house so I don’t have flooding to worry about, but I’m guessing it won’t be long.
It’s gas, and I’m not familiar with gas fittings, or I’d replace it myself.
Pex and shark bite fittings make plumbing a breeze these days.
