    Rip Ruth Bader Ginsberg

Ruth Bader Ginsberg, the enigmatic, longtime Supreme Court justice who attained near cult-like status among progressive circles, died Friday at the age of 87 from complications surrounding metastatic pancreas cancer.

Yep, it came over my news feed a few minutes ago. She lived a full life.

The Liberals must be REALLY sweating now. I assume this gives Trump ANOTHER chance to replace a Liberal leaning Supreme Court justice with a more Conservative oriented judge. I just wonder if he'll have time to accomplish that before the election?

He had better not try to fill it before the election after the commotion over the vacancy when Scalia died. And that happened in February before the last election.

Its ironic that two great friends like Scalia and Ginsburg on opposite sides of the spectrum would pass leaving identical sticky wickets.

This is a national character test for the GOP. I’m glad its not the Dems because I’m not sure they’d pass it either.

Really it’s not an issue. Trump will have plenty of time to make a pick after he wins in November.

I was going to say, AFTER the election, there will be no conflict with Trump selecting a replacement.

Frankly, I'm not so sure Trump would pass a national character test anyway.

    ( In My Opinion)

She has stood before God, for what she’s done.

Lot of babies have died because of her liberal rulings, according to her beliefs.
She also let her beliefs rule her judgments instead of following constitutional laws.

I actually feel sorry for her.

    Her Judgement Day has come.

I hope Trump appoints a Conservative Constitutional Law Abiding Judge before the election.
It’s the only way to save this country.

And I’ve 100% believed Hillary thought she was going to win and they had Scalia killed.
That way they could appoint a liberal socialist Judge and destroy American.

No one will ever be able to make me change my opinion on that.

Scalia was found with a pillow over his face and he was rapidly cremated.

I don’t see any reason for him not to nominate a someone for scotus. The difference with Scalia is that Obama was ending his second term and was essentially a lame duck. We don’t know that is the case for trump. Besides if you think after Scalia died had the dems had control of the senate they wouldn’t have shoved someone though you’re kidding yourself.

Obama: elections have consequences, deal with it!

Now that the tables have turned, I totally agree!

Plus as a bonus I get to watch the Dems scream at the sky again.....

I think that comments from both sides will come back to haunt them this time around.

No offense Posty but you're a little late to the party. For both sides of the aisle. And over the last few decades. If one of them actually passed a character test it would be remarkable. Failing them has become so routine as to not merit even a mention.

They've both played both sides of this argument and neither side gives a damn how hypocritical they seem... or even how much they actually are. It's a national disgrace. And to grab a phrase, they have not even begun to show their unfitness for public office. Pack the court, impeach the bastard, pass it in lame duck. There are no depths to which they will not stoop.

That said, I have to note that if bringing impeachment charges for the exact crime that their own standard bearer has admitted to on camera, running a sham special council for 2 years when every man and his dog in the joint knew it was a political hitjob, and ignoring not just partisan tactics by our own law enforcement agencies but actually suppressing evidence and lying in front of a FISA court have not doomed our nation? Well, replacing one more deceased old timer on an openly partisan court won't do it.

Ruth Bader Ginsberg was a genius. From all accounts a wonderful friend. And someone who made her mark and left a legacy fit for a giant. But she was also openly political and selfish. If she cared about not having a conservative replace her she should have retired when Obama could have replaced her and the then democratic senate could have confirmed her replacement. Gawd we need term limits for all them... including the Supreme Court.

And I vote for replacing face masks with ear plugs for the next 2 months.

Good lord... Sunny, you're getting farther and farther out as the years pass. No wonder Zuckerberg has such a keen interest in you. I kid I kid ... But you also sound about one theory away from the 3 days of darkness being cast upon us soon. Beeswax candles in 4 corners of the house, etc.
