Son, nailed this big boy, late yesterday afternoon.....255 lbs.---20.5 inch inside spread---10 point----one split brow tine.....btw, he trespassed on my deer stand.....well, "trespassed" might be too strong a word....."deer stand squatter" sounds about right.

That is a damned nice buck Muddy. Damned nice. Some of those big old boys are hard to corral. Can't speak for your neck of the woods but that would be the buck of a lifetime in these parts. Big congrats.
I wish I could tell you that I nailed a big one this season but that would be a lie. We had 30 degrees, snow on and off, and a wind that blew hard all opening day. If you didn't have a feeder you didn't kill one. I worked hard all week to nail a decent buck with a small rack. And damned thankful to have it. I doubt if there's a buck even close to the quality of yours in this county.

Our rut has just begun, and there are some absolute hosses being taken, both here in the Delta and along the MS River.....I don't know the full story on this big stomper, other than it was caught on a game camera back in Sept., and then taken by bow, later.
