Wow! Wanna see a nice pair?

You bunch'a pervs! I knew that would get your attention.

I ran across a coupl'a knives one o'youse dufes might be interested in. They're nothing super special, but I think they'd fit right in here. I'm ready to list 'em on The Bay if nobody here want's 'em.

I gots a Dexter No. 317 Boning knife along with an R. Murphy Oyster knife, and plan on selling them as a "set". Dexter's been around since 1818 and R. Murphy was founded in 1850 (both in Mass-a-two-shits). These aren't antiques, the oyster knife is stainless and has ~ R. Murphy, Stainless, Ayer, Mass. ~ laser etched on the blade. (I couldn't get a decent pic of the etching due to the reflective surface) Dexter just acquired R. Murphy in 2018. I have no clue how old the Dexter is, but it has a carbon steel blade. It doesn't "feel" very sharp, so you'll prolly need to whip it into shape.

Here are the company's histories if anyone gives a rat's ass:

    Dexter ~ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dexter...20restaurants.

    R. Murphy ~ https://www.rmurphyknives.com/store/History.html

The super-duper G/H special price is $22.50 and I'll cover the shipping. (Hey, I gots bills ta' pay!)

I have that exact boning knife. Had it for years and it's done it's share of filleting fish and boning out chunks of critter. One of my faves in the knife rack.

Dang, the positive Canuckian review should'a been worth another buck or two. Now I feel I've been taken advantage of! ( )

That oyster knife looks like it should come with a free box of bandaids.

FREE!!!??? What'chu talkin' 'bout Willis? I may auction off a box here if ya' think it might be needed.

I did sell an OLD tin of Band-Aids a few years back. It looked like an old tobacco tin and it went for $50.00. People collect the darnedest things.

Arty, your knives arrived in Va. Beach at 4:00 am on the 7th. Not sure what the hold-up is at your Post Office. I'm assuming you should get them any time now, once the P.O. gets their shit together.

I guess ya' didn't like 'em?

Mr. C. Dinner tried to warn me about you but I just thought it was sour grapes!

I wish I knew a good accountant for some free advice. It's the end of the quarter and I'm ready to close my books on 2020, but I show a debit in my accounts receivables. I'm torn, ya' think I should abide by the GAAP, or carry the debit over to 2021 and hold onto the option for a direct write-off if it should come to that?

I've always thought he was a bit on the shady side. CD refers to him as "the oyster knife hog", but I try not to get involved with their personal politics.

Yessir Hidey-Ho. I had no idea what it was worth, so threw it up as a 7-day auction for $125. It ended up selling for $227.50. The guy with the second highest bid texted me and said he’d have gone higher, but the winner out-bid him at the last minute and he didn’t have time to counter. I have no clue how high it may have gone if they'd had more time to duke it out after the snipe.

I'll send it in a PM Mr. Hide. I'd hate for someone who's eyeballing a $300 listing and decided to Google my user name, then finds this site where I mention paying 50-cents for it!
