    Ha! Kinda makes you wonder if we as a society are getting dumber despite all the advances we’ve made and it makes things like the Apollo program even more impressive when you consider that we hold more computing power in our hands on the john than they had to go to the moon.

    I remember hearing somewhere along the line that the onboard computers on the vehicle they went to the moon in was the equivalent of a TRS-80 or Commodore 64 or along those lines. 8 bit processor for sure.

    I literally have tried to take a dump when I left my phone in the other room and couldn’t do it. A magazine just doesn’t cut it any more.

    Those Apollo series rockets were incredibly analog. I’ve seen that at the Air and Space Museum and it’s mind-blowing.
