Two of my boys were knucklers and the catchers hated them. My oldest son had the best knuckle ball I’ve ever seen. Period. He could stand in centerfield and ball would be knuckling when it got the plate or he could toss it from six feet and it would knuckle. He also played under an idiot coach who never let him pitch ...... even in practice even tho the whole team begged to give him a chance. The coach even told ten of the players that they might as well quit because they’d never see the field, even in practice. He didn’t come back in his senior year.

My baby boy was good friends with the coaches son and started every game from freshman thru his senior year.

Hitters hate a knuckler too.
