    College Bowl Season

I have no idea if I’ll watch much of the CFP bowls as I dislike all four of the teams in it and I think half of this year’s selections, with the exception of Bama and Clempson, don’t deser e to be there.

But the smaller bowls are always fun. When else but in 2020 would you have Hawaii beating Houston 28-14 in the New Mexico Bowl......in Texas?

OU has a few players opting out of our bowl with Florida and I know TU’s best player has opted out of their bowl. But I’ll still watch?

    Strange year.

Tonight’s games....Oklie Doklies vs Hoodlum U and the Whorns vs the Bufflers of Colorado.
    A multi-species extravaganza!
I pick Okie State and Tejas. Although the Ags are down their two best receivers. The Whorns will be trying to save Herman’s job so will they lose on purpose?

Every team has had to have people step up this year.

they only beat us 63-35 without kyle Pitts. Ya'll shouldn't have to score over 40 to beat them

No predictions here. I’m just proud the Sooners got better each game this year and has a chance to play a good team in a bowl game/Covid Superspeader at JerryWorld.

I’m surprised to see Okie State’s two great receivers playing. Stoner and Wallace. Wallace was hirt and Stoner decided to pass onthe bowl I thought I’d heard.
Maybe The Mullet was being tricksey.

Wiscy-Wake is a big dud. It should be the Milk Dud Bowl instead of the Mayo Bowl.

I’m happy with the Sooners 2020 season. Personally, I think the NCAA and ‘the Committee’ showed its true colors this year. Its no wonder so many players are opting out of bowl games.

But I just wanted to male one more comment on this year of cfb: Dan Mullen can suck my dick. What a poor showing of sportsmanship and this from a guy that likely has already got his program in hot water with the NCAA. Probation is likely. And this guy runs his mouth?

    Same old Florida.

    On with 2021!

I'm glad everyone else is starting to see him for what he is. He'll be on the hotseat next year with Trask gone

Things sure got ugly between Tulsa and MS State after the whistle.

#40 for MSU is the reason. On the onside kick he made an illegal block and took out a Tulsa player and then stood over him and got penalized for that. If you look at the replays of the brawl, he was right in the middle of it running his mouth.

It looked horrible for both sides. They have to be better than thatshit no matter what happens.

Mike Leach sure came off looking like a dipshit in his post game interview.

He was doing okay until he kept on talking. As is often the case. Tulsa hasn’t had these issues all year either.

There are good people on both sides!

The Big 12 is 5-0 in bowls. That certainly doesn’t fit the narrative does it?

Well, it looks like tOSU showed that they belonged in the playoffs and Indiana showed that they didn’t.

I guess the B1G made the right call.

No they didn’t. Even if they win out they will be 8-0. The 16th ranked team will be 11-1. tOSU didn’t belong because of their regular season body of work, which was roughly half what Coastal Carolia and Cincinnatti both did.

Do you think either of those teams could beat Clemson by three TD’s?

IU couldn’t even beat a 4-5 Ole Miss.

I didn’t agree with the conference changing the rules to put them into the championship but it appears they deserve to be their by the quality of their play.

Name one playoff other than cfb where you decided who is to be in it based on who you think they could beat.

Shouldn’t the goal to be to get the four best teams in the playoffs?

I agree that is the approach the committee takes in deciding who will get invitations to the playoff. What I disagree with is that is in no way shape or form a playoff.

People darned near had a coniption over the Mythical National Championship, which was decided by the polls. They had a ringtail fit over the BCS because it wasn’t a playoff and was decided by a computer and a committee. This was presented as a playoff. Its the same dad gum thing we’ve had before. A bunch of old white dudes and ESPN decides who gets in. An invitation only four team tournament. You can in no way play your way in.

Would young black dudes and ESPN make better picks?

I agree that there needs to be a larger format that includes automatic bids for conference champs like the basketball tournament.

All I’m saying is if this is going to be the format where profits are prioritized over play, then the players ought to have a say in how its done.
