Nah, our happiness doesn’t depend on who is senator in Georgia. And I have faith in our system that it’ll remain a democractic representative republic long after Trump and Biden and these two senators are gone.
I can’t wait for Jan 20th so we can maybe start obsessing about something else. Personally, I think every woman over 150 shouldn’t be allowed to wear yoga pants.

We'll be fine. Just like the US wasn't collapsing with Trump the US won't collapse with a democratic senate, these things swing and find balance in my opinion.
I pretty much agree. I think the general public is fickle and no matter which party is in office, they're not happy with the results. The Dems are in office, the public tires of their b/s and the Repubs move in. People soon tire of their b/s and the Dems move back in. "We" keep thinking something will change, but the b/s just continues. Rinse and repeat.
Harry S. Truman was President when I was born ... he was a Democrat. That's when the rotation started, during MY lifetime, and nothing much has changed. Here is how the parties have swapped places since I was born.
Dem, Rep, Dem, Dem, Rep, Rep, Dem, Rep, Rep, Dem, Rep, Dem, Rep ... and as of this year, we're back to Dem.
In a few years, we'll get fed up with the B/S as usual and will have the idea that a change of party will fix things .... ad nauseam.

If history is any guide, the Dems will over okay their hand and lost at least one chamber of the Congress in 2022. As long as these seditious assholes don’t pull off some surprise this afternoon. I’m pretty sure the Republic will survive until then.

First order of business.....New House rules on gender neutral language!...."ban gendered words including mother, father, brother and sister to "honor all gender identities by changing pronouns and familial relationships in the House rules to be gender neutral."....ie: do not say "men and women and boys and girls"
