    The Big Dance

Posty, I'm hearing that Oklahoma's 2nd leading scorer has tested positive for Covid. That's gonna leave a mark

I'm predicting Colgate beats Arkansas by 30 tomorrow and Ohio state beats Gonzaga in the finals.

I haven't done a bracket in 20 years and see no reason to start now that senility has set in.

Other predictions: I won't listen to a second of any game that has Dick Vitale, Beth Mowens or Bill Walton announcing them.

I won't watch a single minute of the women's tournament on purpose

there won't be a 5/12 upset this year

and i really don't give a sheep dip who wins it I just want to see some good games

I’m more broken up by the way Purdue is playing in this first half.

It’s hard to be a Purdue fan in March.

Dang.... Ohio State and Purdue bite the pickled weeny. On the same day...that Wisconsin wins? Wth?

I watch a good bit of bb but I humbly admit that I know nothing this time of year.

I wasn’t at all sure about the Sooners getting by Mizzou. It was a good game.

I think our chances are actually better against Gonzaga. Lets see how the Zags play against competition.

Abilene Christian is schooling the Whorns. Loving it!

Tech can be a tough out IN LUBBOCK. They pretty much don’t do as well without their favorite hometown refs.

Frustrated into submission. On offense and defense. The year of the little guy maybe?

I don’t usually complain about the refs but they could have called 20 more fouls on the Red Raiders and still have missed half of the ones they committed. I see why they’re known for their defense, anything less than felony assault doesn’t get called. I’m glad the refs swallowed their whistles at the end

That’s the way it usually is with Tech. I don’t know how they do it. Of course, I think that like football, basketball officiating is at an all time low point quality wise.
Its like they get caught up in the game or something.

One problem is that different conferences call games differently. I heard the announcers say several times during the Purdue game “That wouldn’t be a foul in the Big Ten.” Sometimes it’s hard for teams to make those sort of adjustments before games get out of hand.

Yep, and the classic ref complaint in college bb is how they call the call the game in the first 38 minutes compared to the last 2. They call everything in the last few minutes if its a tight game after ‘letting them play’ the entire game. I watch very few NBA games but they don’t do that at the NBA level.

    WTF?

Well Posthole, tough draw with Gonzaga especially without your highest scorer. The Sooners played them as close as anybody else has this year. In a different region you'd have probably been a sweet 16 team.

Hogs might beat Oral Roberts but I'm afraid the Babblist Bears are gonna be the end of the road for us

It was a tough game and Gonzaga and the whole west coast/PAC 12 actually, play better ball than me or the media gave them credit for.
The refs were horrible in our game but it wouldn’t have made a difference. Still its tough to have a fuckerthrow elbows in three players facesand never get called for it then have your guy called for a flagrant 1 on a frigging dive. Still, that’s modern basketball.
Strange year. I wonder how the extra year the NCAA has granted all players will affect next year’s brackets?

Rooting for the Piggies from here on out! ORU has been a scrappy surprise but that’ll play right into Ark’s styleof play. the streak ends here.

The Pac 12 has been a surprise but it might be goodbyeville for UCLA with Alabama next and either USC or Oregon will be headed home too. Oregon st will have their hands full with Loyola.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Gonzaga, Bama, Baylor and the winner of the Loyola/Ore st in the final four
