    Hooked On A Feelin’

RIP Okie native B.J. Thomas. Used to hear his stuff on AM radio back in the day.

I don’t need to hear any shit from youse dufebutts, but I knew him (and his brother Jerry) pretty well back in the day. Been to his place many times. He was a super nice guy and was always down to earth whenever I was around him. It really sucks that he got into the drugs. Lynn and I went to his concert here about 5-years ago. I really wanted to meet with him, but really didn’t know how to go about it. Heck, I was just a punk kid in h/s when I knew him, so I have no clue if he’d even remember me.

I guess I’m officially an old fart because it seems somebody I “grew up with” is passing away on an almost daily basis. RIP Billy Joe.
