    Just when you think you've seen everything

    something new happens. I was asked today if I would be willing to preach a funeral service for a man I've never met nor any of his family. I've never even met any of his friends. I have no idea how all this came about but it's not the kind of situation you can reject out of hand. I just got thru mining the family for some information so it looks like 10 Am monday I'll be in a dress shirt and tie melting in the hot sun in the local cemetery

    I'm greatly considering writing my own obituary (probably need to get started - just in case ) .. but never considered conducting the ceremony.. Good luck...
