If we had a fishing forum !

First time out with the boat rigged for fishing. Hadn't done this in over 15 years, learning curve was not good.
But after some backlashes, tripped line releases, and general mayhem got all lines down ranging from 90' to 75 ft.
Slow troll at 2.5mph in water 100-120 ft deep we started to mark fish, but only got one release. We started at 8AM and only had about 2 hours to fish, nice calm day on the bay, nice time to spend with #3 on the shake down cruise.
Right now it's Lake Trout, Salmon won't be here for about another two weeks, so by then I should have the routine down a little better.
Beautiful summer morning on some great water with your kid, can't get much better.

The older I get, the better I was. I also forget my password and have to have Len reset it for me

A great day on the water! What are you dragging of those downriggers? Top lure for lakers when I was fishing for them in Cold Lake was a Len Thompson 5 of diamonds in #1 size. Out fished every thing else by a bunch.

I think I see the green flash!

Cool pics. I love that kind of fishing. Nice little four stroke on the transom too!
