May as well, the only thing you hear is the announcers. I’ll tell you what it reminds me of, back in the day I used to go to the Daytona 500 with a bigwig with Shell Oil. We’d be in the Executive Suites with full bar, catered food, etc. The whole front of the suite was glass with theater type chairs and a bird’s eye view of the track. Problem was (to me), you could sit there and have a normal conversation without raising your voice, because the room was silent as far as the cars were concerned. They had a big screen TV set up, but the volume was muted so everyone could “socialize”. All I could ever think of was how much I’d rather be in the stands, or preferably the infield, where I could actually “feel” the sounds of the race.
