Damn, that’s too bad. Back in the early 70’s ZZ Top played here it seemed like every few months. They always showed up here with Blue Oyster Cult and Foghat and sometimes Yes.

    Viva Las Vegas.
    RIP.

I liked their music, but never became a big fan for some reason. They came out right when I left for beautiful SE Asia, and kind of went on a hiatus about the time I returned home. By time they came back on the scene, I was “busy with life” and didn’t have a whole lot of time to really follow music, plus my preferences had changed a bit. Basically, the timing was just off for me to become a loyal fan.

Wow, that's a rarity. I figured Thump had toured with them, sold them all a Caddy and had sex with a dozen groupies a night

Busted! Dang! Yeah, I’ll admit it, you’re right. I just didn’t want to sound braggadocious.

Something tells me you could make a pretty good living off of their rejects.

When MTV played videos I became a fan of ZZ Top for some long-legged reasons.

Still got the "Legs" video on VHS. Might have to dig out my old tape deck and see if it still works.
