Lots of sobering stories like that. I worry for people who work in it. One of my neices is a travel nurse and had a lot of cardiac ICU experience prior to covid. So she worked in covid hotspots ICUs in Aurora, Co, Seattle, and Raleigh NC. She’s on an assignment in Charleston, SC right now and is in a non-covid little boutique hospital. When I saw her this summer she was suffering horribly from PTSD from her work. She said she’d get around to getting some help. Its hard to watch. Hell it was hard to look at the mask acne on her face. And people said it was fucking fake.
It makes me angry. Lies are bad, bad things.
