Old Dogs and Children and Watermelon Wine

Tom T Hall gone at 85. RIP

What a songwriter. You don’t realize how many familiar tunes, if tou have any country roots that is, until you start hearing them.

he may be the last great songwriter, people nowadays will will listen to any kind of crap

He had a wonderful philosophy to life, "In all my writing, I’ve never made judgments,". I think that’s my secret. I’m a witness. I just watch everything and don’t decide if it’s good or bad."

Yep, he was sure a good one. Clayton Delaney is one of the first ones I can remember liking a lot that he wrote.

once again I ask, "Who's gonna fill their shoes?"
If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.
