    I'd rather...

I'd rather be here doing this, than being stuck inside these four walls today!!! Catching beautiful brook trout high in the Rocky Mountains just absolutely NEVER gets old! The colors are just spectacular!!!

    Made me think of this.

Jimmy L. Glass was executed on June 12, 1987. Glass was convicted of shooting to death Newton and Erline Brown while burglarizing their Dixie Inn home on Christmas Day, 1982.

Glass's last words were: "I'd rather be fishing."

QA, that's kind of a morbid twist.

What a beautiful fish and one I truly want to check off of my bucket list at some point in time.

Bwana, you are in luck as Montana, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, and Wyoming have zillions of them in their high mountain lakes. I know they have them in many eastern states as well, but there is just something about being high up in the Rocky Mountains that makes it a little extra awesome.

I’ve been high in the Rocky Mountains. Many times.

Beautiful fish! And great photography too, Sky.

I’ve been high in the Rocky Mountains many times, but I don’t think I was smoking with P-hole.

I only mentioned it because I knew Jimmy Glass’s family. Raised on Bodcaw creek he fished just about every day of his life and actually was added to famous last words because of that quote.

The size of the Brookies out there never ceases to amaze me. Are they native out there?
