    Steaks

I love a good steak, and we go through quite a few. A lot of times I'll just go down to Costco and buy USDA prime cuts and call it a day. That being said I don't know that I've eaten a better (non Japan) steak than Snake River Farms. Their Wagyu (gold) is about as close to A5 as I've had and their prime is better than what I buy locally. I generally go with a mix of Wagyu and USDA prime because the Wagyu gets too rich after a bit.

I wouldn't know, about all I can afford is a grisly piece of chuck off an old rodeo bull once or twice a year.

Can't even stick a fork in the gravy

Those Tomahawks you had a while back looked pretty darn good and a far sight better than grisly

Those Tomahawks were at my son the CRNA's house. I have to save up to buy chicken necks to flavor my gruel

I’ve heard good things about Snake River Farms. But, have never tried it. My local grocery store carries “American Wagyu” flank steak from time to time that’s usually what I grill up for carne asada and it’s damn good.z
