    CFB week 4

    9-4 for the week 30 -15 YTD

    (1) Texas Tech at Texas 12:00pm ABC
I think Texas is probably better than they looked vs Arkansas plus they're at home but Taco Tech upsets somebody every year however I don't think it happens this week. Shorthorns 31-27

    (2) 12 Notre Dame vs. 18 Wisconsin 12:00pm FOX
I'm just not a Badger believer, they get about as much undeserved love in the polls as the Domers. I'm going to say Irish 24-20

    (3) LSU at Mississippi State 12:00pm ESPN
Probably going to be an ugly sloppy game but I think the Bengals prevail 38-28

    (4) 7 Texas A&M vs. 16 Arkansas 3:30pm CBS
Easy peasy, Aggies have won 9 straight over the hogs....make it 10. Faggies 45-0

    (5) 9 Clemson at NC State 3:30pm ESPN
under ordinary circumstances I would pick the upset here but after the Wolfpack got manhandled by a mediocre Miss st team I've lost a little confidence on them. I'm going to say Clempson 28-17

    (6) Louisville at Florida State 3:30pm ESPN2
Norvell may not finish his 2nd season at Tallahassee. Louisville 34-24

    (7) 14 Iowa State at Baylor 3:30pm FOX
I thought about an upset pick here but I'm really not feeling it. Cyclones 41-33

    (8) Rutgers at 19 Michigan 3:30pm ABC
I think Rutgers keeps it close but Michigan wins it 38-26

    (9) Illinois at Purdue 3:30pm BTN
Gotta take the Boilers but probably closer than some would think. Purdue 35-27

    (10) 25 Kansas State at Oklahoma State 7:00pm ESPN+
I think the Mildcats are just a little bit better .....Kstate 30-23

    (11) Tennessee at 11 Florida 7:00pm ESPN
Tennessee is game but even Bama don't get any calls in the penis shaped state. Gators 34-20

    (12) Nebraska at 20 Michigan State 7:00pm FS1
I really like the way Sparty is playing and I think State wins 30-20

    (13) West Virginia at 4 Oklahoma 7:30pm ABC
Sorry Posty but here's my upset pick of the week. Couch burners 31-30

Agree with most. Just a few comments…

I think Texas will stomp the Sand Aggies at home and the tea sippers will proclaim that Texass is back and the AP will plop them in at #24 next week. Sark’s seat will get temporarily cool enough not to leave scorch marks.

I’m gonna disagree with you on Arkansas. The Ags certainly won’t cover +45. If they weren’t playing at AggieLand I’d pick them to win big. As it is, I’ll pick the Hogs by +2.

I think Baylor is the new Iowa State. Now that the stink of Matt Rhule has somewhat dimmed and smocks are back out of style for sideline wear, the Babblists have made some big strides. Baylor at home +6.

I expect the Vols to rain on some elite’s parade at some point, but it’ll likely be at home. To be specific, at home on November 13th, championship month.

The Sooners won’t lose at home to the likes of West Virginia. A win over Va Tech isn’t enough of a resume. Sure, WV returns 14 starters. From a team we beat last year 52-14 at their place.
Don’t conflate early season timing issues on offense with poor expectations for the future. Sooners break out big 63-24.

You’re doing good this year chief!

I’m going to give MS State the edge in Starkville and hope they win out after they embarrassed my Wolfpack a couple of weeks back. Total homer pick, but I like the Pack’s chances at home against Clempson. Someone in the ACC is going to beat them this year. Why not us? I’ll also go with OU at home against the Mountaineers. Tech should have beat them at the end of the game and I just don’t see WVU out scoring OU. In typical Big 12 fashion, it will be 56 to 42.

Just a random thought about CFB, but do you think Taco Tech ever has any regrets about fucking over Mike Leach like they did?

They haven’t exactly tore it up since then.

I’m a Dawg fan today too! I hope Leach leads them to a conf title game some time.

I’ve hated Miss st since before Jackie Sherrill was there and still do no matter who the coach was. Only game I want them to win is Ole Miss

Those cowbells are annoying as hell. But I want leach to stick it in the SEC’s collective ear.

The TCU Horny frogs have the hottest pom squad in the Big XII. Bar none.

and speaking of the frogs, they’re currently losing to SMOO 35-24 in the 3rd.

Well I can check 3/4 boxes I picked today. Sooners coming up! Congrats Piggies! What a great game!

By the way, I detest Gary Danielson. He is a shitty announcer and was a shitty quarterback.

An actual story touting Bama’s 100th win over UNranked opponents after they beat Southern Miss yesterday.

    WTF?

Most Hog fans will never admit their team is good. That way, just in case they continue winning, it can be a sort of mannerly, passive aggressive put down that they got beat by a sorry ass team like the razorbacks. This sort of persecution complex Hog fandom has been rampant in my family for generations. I know it well.
I think its emotional scarring from being the only non-Texas team in their conference for thousands of years. An evolutionary thing.
Oh, and the refs always hate us (the hogs).

    That too.

It makes me want to hug and wring their necks at the same time.

    BKB

and PS….Clempson is the only team in the top 25 with a 2-2 record. Old love is hard to forget I guess. And here is SMOO with a 4-0 record with three wins over pretty fair FBS opponents. They aren’t ranked and got no votes.

Arkansas isn't really ranked, it's some kind of liberal fake news conspiracy only to be snatched away at a later date to bring more shame and humiliation on us. I have it on good authority that we're actually 0-4
