    Sleepy Mountain Town

This picture was taken of our sleepy little mountain town! I didn't take it, and I didn't see it because it was at 11:30 at night. Just passing it along because I think its a cool pic.

I read something a couple days ago that the Aurora Borealis was going to be visible from the Northern states on Monday night. I just skimmed through it … something about a solar flare or something? Cool pic. I’ve seen the Northern lights many times in Canada while walleye fishing/bear hunting and it was a super cool sight over the lake in front of the cabin.

I've never seen them, looked a few times but no luck. Most people say you have to get out in an area with no light pollution, and we are small < 10,000 people but still haven't been able to catch a glimpse.

Northern lights are always a cool thing to watch but it has been too long since I've seen a good display.

Cool pic! Those are on my bucket
List and they said we might see them as far south as where I am. Of course, it’s been completely overcast for over a week…

Seen them a few times up here. A beautiful fall evening watching them over Lake Michigan is very peaceful.
    Great pic !!
The older I get, the better I was. I also forget my password and have to have Len reset it for me

I’ve only seen them once here in Northern Indiana. Nothing like that display but a few streaks of green shooting across the sky.

Would love to go somewhere and see them at their full effect.

When you actually see a good clear display they make you suddenly realize how small and really insignificant humans are in the big scheme of things.

Likewise for my wife. I would love to see them but I'm guessing that they'll never come this far south....

I would think that the burning couches in Morgantown might light the sky up an eerie green

True... But the smoke makes it hard to see much of anything. 😊
