    Favorite desserts

And I'm not talking about pickled eel tongues, I'm speaking of stuff normal people eat

I think I would pick a fruit cocktail salad made with pistachio jello and cottage cheese in it first

    Puh-con pie second

German chocolate or pineapple upside down cake third

Julie makes me a big old homemade german chocolate cake for my birthday every year. Man do I look forwardto that cake.

And I make a bourbon pecan pie for Thanksgiving from a recipe Trav gave me that is right up there close.

My grandmother (raised in Georgia) made a lemon icebox pie that was to die for and has been my favorite since I was a young kid. Second was a pecan pie, also my grand mother’s recipe. My mom made both with her mom’s recipe and both were always requested at family gatherings (usually T-giving/Christmas). My mom and my grandmother are both gone now, but my sister makes both pies and they’re indistinguishable from my grandmother or mom’s pies.

Im not a huge chocolate guy. I’d probably go with a toss up of bread pudding or strawberry rhubarb pie.

My favorite comes out of an old cookbook my hometown put out back in the 60s. My mother got a copy from my grandmother.

It's a carrot cake but is actually called a black walnut cake for obvious reasons. We served it as our wedding cake and got quite a few recipe requests... It's that good.

    Sugar Cream pie

Warm “pee con” pie with vanilla ice cream

Any other type of ice cream.

There’s a reason sugar cream pie is also known as “Hoosier pie”.

BTW, I may be from Indiana, but I ain’t no Hoosier, I’m a Boilermaker!

I would say White Chocolate & Bourbon Bread Pudding and Warm Pecan Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream are my 2 favorites.

My mom makes a great butterscotch dessert that has a graham cracker crust and whipped cream topping that is way yummy, but then again cheesecake with a fruit syrup drizzle or apple pie & ice cream is nothing to sneeze at either.
