    A Day in the Sun

It was 65 here and clear as a bell yesterday so Birddog and I spent the day in the boat. Ostensibly fishing, but basking like two old leathery iguanas is probably closer. Saw some redtails mating in the sky and got in some quality visiting. Didn’t turn a fish. That’s okay. January fishing never gets my hopes up much anyways.

Sounds like the day I spent fishing two weeks ago. Still felt good to be out and scratch January off my New Year’s list.

Sounds like a nice day. I'm not positive but is Birddog = Uncle Jessy? If so how is he doing?

I'm down to only about 40 bushels of pecans left to shell so while I do that I'm watching crime drama on the tube with a crockpot full of deer tenderloin, onions, carrots, and Yukon Gold taters is simmering in onion gravy.

Ought to be ready about suppertime

QA, I’m starting to get the idea that you might be a foodie.

Hombre, yes one in the same. Keith is doing fine. He’s still ornery, stubborn, ugly, set in his ways, and still believes fishes have hands evidenced by a number ofswings and misses yesterday. So I’d say he’s doing quite well!

I’m a man of many interest but few talents. One of the most boring people alive
