DD, I've got a son thinking about taking a job in Marion Indiana and wants to move me and the missus up there to be close to the grand kids, you showing those temps is making my decision to stay awful easy
This is the first winter in several years that we’ve had temperatures like this for an extended period. Lately it’s been one quick blast of the really low temps for a couple days at that’s it.
Marion is just over an hour to the south of me.

We've had a tough January, average temp's in the mid 20's, lows at night near or below 0.
We've had a lot of days where the wind chill is -0, average amount of snow so far, around 40"
Late January is usually the coldest weather, so it should be getting a little better, hell, it's WINTER !!!
Great Lakes has about 33% ice cover, this helps with what we call Lake Effect snow. We've broken the back
of Old Man Winter, 30 days from now it's March, which I consider the start of Spring.

We’ve been in astrange pattern of unseasonably warm weather followed by full on winter. The cycles last three or four days. Its mid 60’s and sunny today and headed to 70 tomorrow. Tuesday we start the day at 59 and end the day with snow and a high of 23 Wednesday and a low of 12.
Whoever is on charge of this shit needs to sober up!
