When it falls to rock bottom, it doesn't take much of an improvement to show a "high" percentage rate increase. Crawling from the bottom of the toilet bowl to 6" below the rim isn't much to get excited about. Percentages are fun to play with ... going from 1% to 2% is a 100% increase!
Speaking of percentages, what did you pay for groceries last month? How 'bout that last tank of gas? That 7% inflation rate for 2021 kind'a smarts!

That’s very true as it was negative 3-4% in Trump’s last full year. The same logic works for the inflation rising compared to the previous year when the former guy drove the economy off a cliff.

DD, Justin Trudeau was kept in office by 21% of the Canadian electorate. Sounds to me that he is a fringe minority with unacceptable views. He is now in hiding and can't meet with the Truckers because he says that he came in contact with a covid positive individual who turns out to be his kid that he doesn't even live with. What’s everyone’s take on the Russia/Ukraine situation? I saw a clip from CNN that said Biden and the Ukrainian President disagreed on the urgency of the situation. Supposedly Biden has a more urgent view of the situation than the Ukrainians do.
Any chance that the Biden administration is playing up the situation so that when nothing happens, they can claim a victory and say they forced the Russians to back down?

Ukraine is very much scared shitless right now. And about 99% of it has to do with Nord 2. They just petitioned Congress with a letter and one of themain things is they want us to sanction Nord 2. Nord 1, which supplies about 30% of western Europe’s natural gas, goes through the Ukraine pipeline network and has been the main reason Europe has told Russia to keep the fuck away from Ukraine. And Russia pays Ukraine billions in transport fees. Nord 2 goes through the ocean and bypasses Ukraine. If Congress doesn’t get NATO to sanction it, Putin figures correctly that western Europe will turn their back on Ukraine. Ukrane knows it too.
when the US saysthey won’t sanction NORD 2 is when Russia invades. Once they control the pipeline network Europe won’t have a choicebut to taketheor gas from Russia how Putin decides they will.
So the nut of it boils down to dollars and gas. And they’re scared shitless. Its really no brainer.
